Cardiac disorders are surging in India

The incidence of cardiac disorders and diabetes are surging in India. Today, Indians on an average, spend as much as  ₹21,000 crore ($2.8 billion) annually, on cardiac medication alone. A decade ago, it was a third of its size and the second largest therapy in terms of sales.
