Veena Reddy becomes the first Indian American to head USAID India

Veena Reddy took charge as the first Indian American Mission Director of US Agency for International Development (USAID)

In a statement, the US embassy said that Reddy will lead USAID’s operations in India and Bhutan

Born in Andhra Pradesh, Reddy holds a PhD from Columbia University School of Law and an MA and BA from the University of Chicago
