Ranked 16 on the list, Jayshree Ullal has a net worth of $1.7 billion. Ullal, president and CEO of Arista Networks since 2008, own 5% of Arista's stock and also joined the board of directors of Snowflake, a cloud computing company that went public in 2020.
Neerja Sethi co-founded the IT consulting and outsourcing firm Syntel with her husband Bharat Desai back in 1980. Initially run out of their Michigan apartment, the company was acquired by French IT firm Atos SE for $3.4 billion, catapulting Sethi's net worth to $1 billion. She is ranked 26 by Forbes.
Pune-born Neha Narkhede with a net worth of $925 million is the co-founder of cloud company Confluent. Ranked 29th on the list, Narkhede who did her Masters from Georgia Tech, was initially a software engineer at LinkedIn. In 2014 she founded Confluent and the company went public earlier this year.
Ranked 39 on the list with a net worth of $750 mn, Reshma Shetty co-founded Gingko Bioworks, a biotechnology company. A PhD from MIT, Shetty founded the company with her husband and 3 others. The company which is slated to go public in a $17.5 billion SPAC deal recently opened its Boston facilities for coronavirus research.
