At the Australia Day honours list 2022, two Indians are amongst the 1,040 awardees. PIOs Deepak-Raj Gupta was awarded a Medal of the Order of Australia for service to the community in Canberra while Prithvi Pall Singh Bhathal, for his service to pathology.
