Enjoying the vibes of Perth

Perth, Australia, Zip Code: 6000

While driving home on a beautiful sunny day when I switched on the radio, I heard the local RJ describing Perth as the ‘best city in the world’, and I completely agreed with what he was saying. To me it indeed seems the best place to spend life in.

Perth, the capital of Western Australia is home to about two million people. Famous as the ‘isolated city’, it enjoys more sunshine than majority of the cities in the world.

Sunsets in Perth are a sight to behold. In some of the days, the sky is all lit up with an orange aura while the sun slowly sets down  the horizon of the Indian ocean. I simply love watching the sunset at the Scarborough Beach while the golden orange glow of the fading sun beams at the horizon.

Western Australia including Perth boasts of lots of clean beaches with white sand and blue waters. Here human life thrives amidst native trees and bushes, fish species, wild flowers, reptiles and birds. The outback might look arid but nevertheless its a unique colourful landscape.

The skies are mostly clear, the summers are hot and the winters mild. Perth is on the same time zone as Singapore and offers enough options of restaurants serving good Indian, Asian and other cuisines of the world.

Cricket, footy and rugby are the national sports here, and people love spending a time outdoors throughout the year.

The best thing that I like about Perth is its people who are easy-going and friendly. Since the city has a small population, everyone lives with lots of extra personal space to enjoy. Its truly a multicultural city and I am very proud and happy to live here.
