Zomato’s earliest and biggest backer Info Edge has seen the value of its stake in the company skyrocket by more than 1,000 times from ₹4.7 crore to ₹15,000 crore. The value soared after the food-delivery company went public. Sanjeev Bikhchandani tweeted, “Here is the ultimate evidence why India should invest more behind its startups and in early-stage VC funds.” He also put up a graph showing the returns his company got from Zomato during various price points.
