A big part of America no longer wants us. Indians who are on a visa in the US face the painful prospect of uprooting the life you have built with hard work. Let this be the birth pains of a bold new future. Come back, let’s build India.

As difficult as it is for many of you (NRIs) to contemplate this, please come back home. Our country needs your talent. Our vast youthful population needs the technology leadership you gained over the years to guide them towards prosperity.

The productivity gains from AI are still hotly debated: we definitely get to a working prototype much faster but a finished product has a lot more to it and not all the stages can be sped up by AI.

To earn true respect in the world, Indians have to develop deep capabilities in India. Achievements abroad won’t do it. I hope smart Indians keep this in mind.

Over time, cultural continuity in an organization tends to be with those who stayed long term and it is those people who get promoted. That would explain why Indians are at the top in so many companies in America.

The best craftsmen make their own tools. The path to Bharat’s rise as an economic and technological power is through capital goods, custom-designed and low-cost.
