- At first I thought I’d got my geography all wrong. I’d always thought that Goa was in India. But it was the other way round; India was in Goa, or so it appeared during my recent visit there. Dabolim airport was bursting at its newly refurbished seams as planeload after planeload crammed with people from all over the country got offloaded in a melee of mixed-up baggage, parents who’d misplaced their children, children who’d misplaced their parents, and some lost souls who looked as though they’d misplaced themselves…
