Coming from a family of doctors, Manjunath Mural had a hard time convincing his parents that he wanted to become a chef. Branching out into a profession which wasn’t considered to be great back in the day, Mural had a lot at stake. But he proved his mettle when he moved to Singapore to join The Song of India. And under his stewardship the Indian restaurant won a Michelin star not once but thrice.
