I reside in the heart of the downtown of Riyadh in the Olaya district. There are many interesting places around my locality, and my family and I love spending quality time in these places. One of the tallest towers of Saudi Arabia – The Kingdom Tower is at a distance of two kilometers from my residence. It is a hub for fashionable items and luxury brands.
Kingdom Tower
Riyadh is Saudi Arabia’s largest city and the country’s administrative capital. The name Riyadh was derived from the plural form of the Arabic word ‘rawḍah,’ meaning gardens or meadows. There is a lush green park in my neighborhood. The park is a haven for housewives and children. We gather there every evening and take long walks. Sometimes we organize small tea parties for ladies and theme parties for children.

There are many restaurants and cafés in the surrounding areas, and I love spending time in those places over snacks, tea and coffee with my loved ones. I have many happy experiences of whiling away with friends and family in these places. There is no dearth of choice when it comes to your favourite cuisine. Eateries serve excellent food from across the world.

Olaya district, the place where I stay is the commercial heart of the city. Though Riyadh has a hot desert climate with long summers and short and very mild winters, we love staying here. It is the place where my twins have grown up. The beauty of the city is breathtaking.
