Indians in Kabul were intercepted by the Taliban

Ever since the time Taliban gained control of Afghanistan, many are making their way to the Kabul airport to flee the country, including the Indians living in the war-torn country. It was only recently that 80 Indians living in Afghanistan were evacuated from Kabul by a transport military aircraft of the Indian Air Force but around 150 Indians failed to board the flight as the Taliban intercepted them. The group of Indian nationals is learnt to have been stopped and taken to an unknown location near the Kabul airport for questioning and verification of travel documents, triggering confusion and concerns in India.
