India's Chandrayaan 2 launch

Chandrayaan 2 was India’s second inter-planetary mission and had a lot riding on it. While the mission may have failed at the very last stage when the Vikram rover crash landed on lunar surface, it doesn’t take away from the incredible hard work and research put in by ISRO’s team. The best part: 30% of this team was made up of women, including the Project Director, Muthayya Vinitha, and Mission Director, Ritu Karidhal Srivastava.
