Being born and brought up in India, Anjali Phougat fell in love with fabrics and knew that this was her true calling. A fashion designer by profession, Phougat is also a champion of LGBTQI community who recently won the Best Short Film Award at the Cannes Film Festival in the global short film category for her LGBT rights-inspired Inclusion Through Unity (2021).
