This Independence Day, the iconic Times Square in New York City was drenched in the hues of saffron, white and green as the biggest Indian tricolour was unfurled for the very first time to mark the celebration. The 48 square feet-long tricolour was unfurled atop a 25-feet tall pole by Consul General of India in New York, Randhir Jaiswal at an event organized by Federation of India Associations.
